PAP SMEAR

Had my pap smear test done today. Result will be out in 4 weeks time.

Sent documents on Melyssa's visa application out yesterday by sign for mail that costed £5.50. Expected to reach Malaysia in 1 week's time.

Melyssa collected her birth certificate and her dad's dead certificate from Michelle today. Chee will be bringing Melyssa to meet Subrinna on 11 Sept. 2009 (tomorrow) afternoon. Pray that all documents will be sufficient for her visa application.

So since Melyssa had already opened a saving account with Hong Leong Bank, thus already banked in RM46,000 into Melyssa's saving account. Already got my brother to keep Melyssa's saving book in the safe.

Tooth

Arrived at Kings College Hospital in Camberwell, well passed 9.00am due to public transport and traffic at Brixton bla bla bla....... Closed my eye when they put a needle to my right hand vein but unfortunately they couldn't find the perfect spot and well have to try my left hand vein. When I woke up from the process, my tooth had already been taken out. Can hardly remember anything at all on the process when the tooth was extracted. Not too bad an experience to opt for sedative. Needless to say, as I am typing this blog, my tooth is hurting now. The last time I had my tooth extracted was about 4 1/2 years ago in Malaysia with sedative administered. Never ever been asked before in Malaysia. Wonder Malaysia have the sedative procedure now..................

Nervous Nervous

Going to Kings College Hospital on Sept 1, 2009 at 9.00am to have my lower left wisdom tooth extracted as according to the dentist, it can't be saved as it is only about half of the tooth left since my last filling came out months ago. Opted for "Intravenous (IV) sedation" whereby a sedative is injected directly into a vein. While under IV sedation, you will feel deeply relaxed but you will still be able to understand and respond to requests from the dentist. You will be unaware of the operation and this form of treatment is ideal for patients who wish to avoid the noise and vibration of the drill.

Missed an appointment I had made with my GP for smear test on 21 August, 2009 at 4.20pm. Totally forgotten about it until about 6.00pm that evening. Scary yeah, sign of old age..... weak memory..... Anyway, will ring up for appointment again on 1 Sept 2009 since 31st August 2009 is a bank holiday in UK. Well and is also a holiday in Malaysia since it is Independence Day (Merdeka).

Brighten Up My Hope

Have just heard from my elder daughter, Michelle that she went with my youngest daughter, Melyssa to shops. Michelle claims over RM40.00 saying that Melyssa bought some stationeries which are pencils, files etc. After hearing this, I am so happy. That shows that Melyssa did have the interest to come and study in UK. My dear darling Melyssa, I really really missed you so much even though you didn't want to me much. I just pray hard that you will get your student visa soon without any obstacles. Thanks God for honouring my request.

My Day Off

Spent my day viewing house around South Thames College whereby Melyssa will be attending when she comes in Sept hopefully. The rent near the college is quite high but because I didn't want Melyssa to take a public transport and be caught in the morning traffic with everyone else leaving their house to work as her class starts at 9.00am Monday to Friday.

The one that I viewed is just a walking distance to the college but the rent is £250 pw for a 2 rooms flat. Still considering and will try to ring up the agent and reduce the rent if possible.

Spoke to Michelle and requested her to email me her FD that she had opened months ago as well as also email me the bank statements which she claimed to hv received from HSBC. Still awaiting for her email. Just being afraid that some one close to her will sweet talk her into giving him a loan (if given, it is as good as BAD DEBT). Money is not easy to earn, my hard earned money - Just like my friend, Jescyln said.

Wish that I can shout it to somebody's face that "I PAID THE CAR THAT MICHELLE IS DRIVING NOW WITHOUT A SINGLE PENNY OR SEN HELP FROM ANYBODY" SO IN ANOTHER WORDS "IT IS LEGALLY MY CAR" - HANDS OFF IF WHOEVER WHO THINK THAT THEY CAN KEEP IT WHEN MICHELLE COMES TO UK.

Jescyln or Foong - You should know who I am referring to!!!!!

MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING. THROUGH MONEY I SEE THE EVIL IN YR GREED.

Hearthache

Rang up my Michelle and asked about her insurance claim and reminded her that when she gets the money, do not lend it to anybody especially her second uncle. An example is that he took her dad's car and when I spoke to him in June to get him to sell the car as I need the money to support my two girls, till now he hasn't sold yet. Sms him early August to ask about the car, but till now no news yet from him. I don't trust him when money is involved. That's why I keep on reminding Michelle not to lend money to anyone. And Michelle was very mad that my brother stayed in my apartment without paying rent. We had an argument over the phone and the last words from her was "That's fine. What you want now?" That's when I cut off the line. Feeling hurt and sad, wrote in the FB that "Disappointed with you. Will not call you until I cooled down." And when I got home, received a reply from Michelle's which was really sad to me.

South Thames College (Outside)

South Thames College Hair Dressing Reception

South Thames College Sport Area

South Thames College in Wandsworth SW18

Is Tuesday - my day's off from work.

Went house/flat hunting as my Melyssa is due to come to UK in Sept'09 when she gets her student visa through (pray that her visa application will be approved).

As for Michelle, she will probably be staying in university campus when she comes to UK for further study.

Trying to get a house/flat which is near to her South Thames College in Wandsworth so that she can just walk to college saving her time on travelling as her class starts at 9.00am. Viewed two units, one in Earlsfield and one is very near the college but is just like Council flats, so rejected it. Anyway, still hunting and am keeping my fingers crossed that I will find one soon.

As for Michelle, hope that she will get good result in the exam. Bless her with good marks.

Memory Recovered - Raider of the Long Lost Friends

Raider of the Long Lost Friends!!!!!!!!!!!

Had contacted my long long lost friends last week after about more than 8 years without any calls. It is a wonderful feeling to rekindle the friendship after all this while. After so many years leaving away from own homeland, learned that friends are hard to find especially close, sincere friends. Something tells me that I should have called them years ago, but due to certain reasons, I choose not to. But I am glad that I did now. Is better late than never. Right?

After chatting with them on the phone, have learned that we changed in our appearance, size (especially due to our age) thinner or fatter??????????? All of us should know the answer without me telling!!!!!!

Is nice to know that Jescyln, who is my friend since when we both left Form 5 and enjoyed cycling togerther, is happily married with a son now and leading a wonderful life and holding a promising career. As for her sister, Emily, she has got a son and a daughter now. Good for her, as her children are so cute.

As for my old old classmate, Christina Woon, things doesn't changed much for her. Still sound the same, cheerful voice as always. Still single. Well, in todays world, staying single is not such a bad idea. You have your own say, your time to yourself and money to yourself too!!!! ..

As for some people, I just learned that money changes people attitude. Money changes a normal human to a greedy one!!!!!!!!!!!

To me, money is not everything, even as the saying goes like everybody needs money to survive. Relationship is the most important one in my mind. Is it fated that we are borned to be relative or friends in this life!!!! Appreciate it while we can as we are not going to be together again in our next life if we ever have another life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless everone that I know!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad sad sad

After staying with for almost 3 months from 17 May 2009 till 12 August 2009, my daughter, Melyssa flew back to Kuala Lumpur on 12 August 2009 at 1.25am from Stansted Airport.

It is never easy to see her leave me again. The 1st time when she came to UK on 31 August 2008 and leaves on 15 September 2009.

This time is a bit different because for this time, she went back to Malaysia to apply for a student visa to come back again to study at South Thames Colleges, Wandsworth for the English Language Course which is suppose to commence on 28th September 2009. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will be able to get her Student Visa application through soon.

I know that it is not easy for her to stay her life here without friends, or even the varities of food here which are very different compared to food in Kuala Lumpur. It would be very hard for her. I think I am also being selfish, as to insist that she comes to UK rather than me going back to Malaysia. But what choice do I have, money here is big big big compared to Malaysia. This is the only place whereby I can earn enough to support my two daughters financially and to pay for my elder daughter, Michelle's education. I also pray that I will be able to provide them financially and to be able to treat them for overseas holidays.

Misery Miseryyyyyyyyyy

Took my daughter, Melyssa, to see my friend Elma at Brixton Water Lane whereby she works there teaching radio which is way and technique of recording radio. Reached there about 1.30pm. Was met by Elma and also being introduced to Molly who is the boss there as well as another lady assistant which I didn't get the name.

From what I see from Melyssa's expression, she is not interested in radio. She told them that she is interested in dancing and hairdressing. She was told to go tomorrow and 10.30am till 12.30pm and to teach over 60's people on computer and she will be paid for expenses. And to go every Tuesdays and Thursdays for the radio lesson at 10.00am till 3.00pm. Doubt she will go!!!!!!!!!

Bento wanted to employ part-time as well as full-time waitress. But she didn't want to go. Told me that she is just here because of my grumbling at her to come here. Asked her whether she will be coming back for study after going back to Malaysia, and she answered 'Don't know'.

What am I suppose to do with her..................
